How Billing Works
Reserve — Before each request, the platform reserves worst-case credits based on
max_tokensStream — The provider generates the response
Reconcile — Actual token usage is calculated, and the difference between reserved and actual is refunded
Deduction order — Monthly plan credits are consumed first, then top-up balance
This means you're never overcharged. If a request uses fewer tokens than reserved, you get the difference back immediately.
